1984 Turbo Esprit


I have yet to look inside an Esprit gearbox and find nothing to do! How does the water get inside?	All of the gears, etc. needed cleaning and polishing.

This box looked worse than any I've seen!	This is what came out of the drain.

Some time in the past there was a problem with the Pilot Bearing which spun the sleeve on the shaft.	The shaft was cleaned and Permatex was used to secure the sleeve. The Pilot bearing was generously lubricated.

The Engine was seized and the inside of the Carbs were very corroded.	I didn't remove the Cylinder Head, but the Pistons probably look like the inside of the Carbs.

Out with the old!	A view of a 910 engine that few people see. Gladly!

In with the New!	The Gearbox works like new again.
